It's an amazing concept conveyed beautifully. The scene captures a less-than-beautiful life, beautifully. We see the danger in jumping, and the danger in not. Wonderful job.

I needed a few seconds to figure out how the word 'jump' was related to anything in this drawing

and my first thought then was that you put an alien abduction into the peaceful middle of nowhere in an american desert.
most of all I like the composition of few but harmonic colors here
