How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Holy crap, I am now a Doctor! (in computer science, not in medicine). I managed to unintentionally set up a Hollywood finish to my PhD, that resembled those movies where the hero goes through the most sadistic struggles, kills the baddies and finally diffuses the bomb with not even a second to spare, just as the counter reaches zero - all played in very slow motion but with equal suspense. I went through all sorts of problems, from research that I would have thrown out of the window (at great cost) had it not worked at the absolutely very last moment, to personal trouble, bureaucratic trouble that required travels and weeks from my non-existent time, etc etc, all stuffed in the last few months. But now, after months of 16-hour-work days, finally everything seems in its right place: I defended, submitted my PhD thesis (in Computer Vision, if it matters to anyone) and have two months to draw, build stuff and travel (or maybe just sleep) until late February when I'm starting work at a cool company here in NYC.

That was by far the most tiring thing I've ever done... and I really hope it will keep that title.

This is also why I didn't get to respond to many awesome comments and notes on this page - and didn't make any new drawings - during the last months, but it's now time for things to change!
